Kim Ratteerree's Biography
Kim is a Mecklenburg County native with deep family roots in Catawba County. She graduated from
West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, then attended Pfeiffer University, completing a Bachelor of
Science degree in Business Administration.
Kim has actively participated in various organizations over the years, serving for several years as
Treasurer for the Sherrills Ford Optimist and as the Financial Secretary for Mt. Pleasant United
Methodist Church for seven years, where her family has been members for over 20 years.
Kim has worked at Peoples Bank in Denver NC for over 16 years in commercial lending and is currently a
Vice President and Business Development Officer. She brings to Hearts and Hope many years of
bookkeeping and accounting experience within the construction and sports marketing industries.
Kim resides in Sherrills Ford, NC with her husband of 34 years, Tommy and they have two adult children
– Hayley Lunceford, married to Justin Lunceford and Jake Ratteerree, engaged to Lauryn Hughes. Kim, a
founding member of Hearts and Hope Foundation, Inc. is honored to pay her blessings forward through
the legacy of Luke Sigmon and the others this organization is able to help.
